Externally the building has been designed to replicate 4 blocks with adjoining links to lessen its visual impact on the surrounding environment, with parts of the external envelope being finished using bespoke standing seam zinc type cladding which sympathetically adds a touch of character to fit with the traditional design ethos of the region and all being fabricated and installed on site by local craftsmen.

Internally the home provides the staff and residents with the highest of standards of facilities for respite and dementia care and comprises of 70 en-suite bedrooms with a mixture of Premier Rooms and Suites available.
