This new build Care Home in Burton Upon Trent commenced on site in July 2024 and is due to complete in November 2025. This project will be another turn-key home being built by Specialist Care Home Builders, Wynbrook Limited, and is financed by Octopus Real Estate and operated by Acacia Care Group. The home has been designed to meet the latest standards including specialist facilities for dementia care.
Located in a prominent position on Wetmore Road, the development has been constructed on a former brownfield site which consisted of a former Gym. The project due to its proximity to the river has required a piled foundation solution.
The home is laid out in a ‘J’ shape configuration and comprises of three floors of accommodation consisting of 82 luxury bedrooms each with en-suites and one floor dedicated entirely to specialist dementia care.
Dining areas overlook the river, and the top floor has elevated vaulted ceilings and arch windows overlooking this aspect.
