Wynbrook Care Homes  is celebrating awards success following the announcement that Fernhill House Care Home in Worcester has won the ‘Best New Care Home’ category award at the 2018 Pinders Healthcare & Design Awards in London.

Wynbrook designed and built the £4.3m home working alongside the care homes operator Majesticare, lead architects DWA Architects and structural engineers Howard Ward & Associates.

Commenting on winning the award, Wynbrook’s Design & Build Construction Director Steve Day said: “We are thrilled to have completed this luxury care home for Majesticare. We were the only builder to have two completed projects reach the finalist stage and delighted that Fernhill House has been successful in winning an award.”

Wynbrook completed Fernhill House back in March 2017. The 66 bed care home boasts many advanced technological features which include therapy rooms, a replica pub and craft rooms to offer variety for its residents. The other care home that Wynbrook built that was shortlisted for an award was Chetwynd House in Chilwell, Nottingham which came runner up.

Fernhill House care home  provides residents with luxury surroundings including professionally landscaped gardens, a cinema and an in-house pub.
