The new care home, financed by Target Fund Managers was officially opened on 28 June 2019 and has been designed to meet the latest standards including specialist facilities for dementia care.
Located in rural Shropshire and required working throughout the build in a live environment alongside the existing care home. Through working closely with the operators and staff, disruption was kept to a minimum.
Replacing the old, outdated Roden Hall and once completed, the residents from the old hall were transferred smoothly into the new building, with reactions to their new home being more than favourable.
The Client, Rotherwood Care is extremely proud of the new facility and hopes to develop the site further to provide additional accommodation options.
